Alexander the Great- Troy, Egypt
One of Alexander's first stops on his journey to Persia was Troy. When Alexander reached the shore of Troy he proclaimed that he would soon be the ruler of Asia Minor. When he was at Troy he look for the help of the great hero Achilles. To do that he took the shield of Achilles from the temple of troy with him. Alexander also went to look for help from Apollo. The story says that the river of Apollo stopped running after the Persians took over the city. When Alexander went down to the bottom of the temple to pray to Apollo the river started running again. Alexander took this as a sign that he had the aide of Apollo. After Gaza Alexander headed to Egypt. When he arrived he was greeted as a liberator. He was appointed pharaoh. He was finally recognized as a god on earth.
Alexander the Great- Persian War
In the Persian wars Alexander proved that he was one of the best generals of all time. He believed he was the son of a god, and he also had the help of the gods. Alexander laid siege to a town that was defended by Afealties and his men. Alexander had some of the most advanced weapons for siege of the time; rams and towers that would allow men up on o the enemy's walls. One night Afealties tried a last resort effort and tried to burn the towers and rams in a raid of the camp. In the beginning of the battle it seamed that Afealties would win the fight, but the Macedonian reserves joined the fight they swung the battle in the Macedonian favor.
Alexander the Great- Bio
Alexander was born in 356 B.C. in Macedonia. His father was Phillip of Macedon II, and his mother was Olympias. Alexander was educated by Aristotle, a great philosopher. Phillip was assassinated and Alexander inherited the kingdom. He quickly dealt with his enemies at home. And in doing so he reasserted Macedonian power in ancient Greece. After that he seat out for the Persian Empire. Against the odds he lead his armies to many victories across the Persia.

Alexander the Great
- Born in Macedonia
- He proclaimed that Zeus was his father
- Philip created the state of Macedonia in 20 years
- His mother was addicted to ancient cults
- When he was a boy his father told him'Find another kingdom my boy, Macedonia is not big enough for you'.
- At 19 Alexander's father was murdered
- He set out for Persia in 347 BC
- Alexander's journey took him almost to Persia
- Alexander paid a visit to Troy, claiming that Asia was his by right
- It is said that he took Achilles shield with him from Troy
- Alexander looked for help from Apollo
- When Alexander went down in the shrine the magical spring started flowing again
- Afealties lead a raid to burn Alexander's towers and rams
- Macedonians reserves helped sway the battle and the Macedonians won
- Alexander didn't always think things out ahead, and he was a lucky way
- Alexander was a stubborn man

- After that night there was a huge storm, the gods were with him
- They called Alexander the two horned one
- Darius started for Alexander's army, with an army two times the size of Alexander's
- Alexander smashed the Persian army in the first minute of the battle
